Sales Director - LOS/SaaS Lending Solutions

The Sales Director is responsible for identifying and pursuing potential opportunities to drive new revenue by selling Origence products and services. This individual guides prospects through the system evaluation process and brings them to a timely decision. Additionally, the Director collaborates closely with Sales Engineering to curate tailored solutions. In doing so, this individual should engage professionally with other Origence departments.

What you will do:

Proper Target Prospecting

  • Act as a true hunter, utilize sales tools, networking, and professional outreach to identify and engage high-potential financial institutions.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the LOS market, competition, and buyer pain points to effectively position Origence solutions.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and deploy best practices to continuously grow and qualify opportunities.
  • Partner with Client Experience, Marketing, and Product teams to execute lead generation and account-based strategies.
  • Engage with prospects through compelling presentations, demos, and participation in select industry events.

System Evaluation Process

  • Lead comprehensive discovery conversations to uncover prospect challenges, technical requirements, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering to deliver customized solution presentations that clearly demonstrate the value of Origence’s LOS platform.
  • Guide prospects through the evaluation and decision-making process with discipline, professionalism, and urgency.
  • Document key updates, feedback, and next steps, and share insights with cross-functional teams to drive ongoing improvement and alignment.

Entire Sales Cycle

  • Manage the complete sales process, from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and contract close.
  • Coordinate RFPs, Statements of Work, and Agreements to ensure smooth transitions from prospect to client.
  • Properly introduce engaged prospects to Implementation and Client Experience teams as the deal progresses.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records of all outreach activities in Salesforce and ensure reporting integrity within Power BI.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals, demonstrating a track record of success in closing new LOS sales to financial institutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

Education:

  • BA or BS degree or commensurate experience

Experience:

  • Seven years’ experience in the Financial Services industry in a product sales environment
  • Extensive knowledge of loan origination systems, credit scoring models, core data processors, portfolio monitoring and sales management systems
  • Extensive knowledge of the Credit Union Marketplace; Credit Union operations, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with sales automation tools and customer retention systems.
  • Ability to manage a complex sales cycle from initial contact to closing.

  • Proven track record of sales and referral success
  • Work independently with a high level of initiative
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent Team building skills and mentoring abilities

The starting salary range for this full-time position is: $100000 - $125000 per year plus a generous commission plan. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program.
